GrabTable does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or user data of any kind.
- Everything is local. When you click the GrabTable icon, it reads the tables on the page you're viewing and converts the one you choose into a file or clipboard text — entirely inside your browser. No page content, table data, or file is ever sent to any server.
- It runs only on your click. GrabTable uses the
activeTab permission, so it has no standing access to any website. It can touch a page only at the moment you click its toolbar icon, and only to read that page's tables.
- The output stays with you. Exports are saved to your computer via your browser's normal download, or copied to your clipboard. The extension does not upload, read back, or retain them.
- It stores nothing of its own. No accounts, no settings server, no analytics, no tracking, no third parties, no remote code.
Permissions are used solely to provide the feature:
- activeTab — temporary access to the current tab, only when you click the icon, to read its tables.
- scripting — to run the bundled table-extraction routine on that tab when you click.
