PixelSwap does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or user data of any kind. All image conversion happens entirely on your device, inside your browser. Images you convert are never uploaded to any server and never leave your device.

The extension stores only your JPG-quality preference locally using Chrome's storage. This is a single setting, is not personal data, and is not transmitted anywhere.

No analytics, no tracking, no cookies, no accounts, no third parties. Permissions are used solely to perform the action you request: Context menu — to add the "Save image as PNG/JPG" right-click options. Downloads — to save the converted image to your Downloads folder. Storage — to remember your JPG-quality setting.

Host access — to read the bytes of the image you right-click (images are often hosted on a different domain than the page) so it can be converted locally. The request is made without sending your cookies, and the image is never transmitted anywhere.
